Questions for Bill: Ballhandling

My 9-year-old daughter loves basketball, but has problems with her dribbling/ballhandling. Are there any fun activities that she can do on her own to improve?

After checking out Coach Thom’s drills on ballhanding, you will see that it comes down to handling the ball whenever you can. Follow his series of drills, because you will be able to do them alone. Also, I have found using a tennis ball to dribble with helps, and make sure you spend more time on your “weak” hand to build up your confidence and strength.
